Croatia: Economic sentiment improves in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 103.9 in June, following May’s 103.4. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In June, sentiment improved in the construction sector (+7.9 vs +7.0 in May), the services sector (+14.7 vs +8.8 in May), the retail sector (+1.3 vs -2.3 in May) and among consumers (-10.2 vs -10.8 in May). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (-0.3 vs +1.5 in May).
