China: Inflation ebbs in June from May
Latest reading: Consumer prices rose 1.0% on a year-on-year basis in June, following a 1.2% increase in the previous month, mainly due to lower energy and gold prices. June’s reading came in slightly below the market estimates, and marked a three-month low.
Finally, consumer prices fell 0.30% in June in month-on-month terms, following a 0.10% fall in the prior month.
