Bulgaria: Consumer prices rise in October
Consumer prices rose 0.7% over the previous month, following a 0.3% month-on-month increase in September. According to the Statistical Institute, higher clothing and footwear prices—amid the start of the new season—drove the acceleration from a month earlier.
Inflation ticked up to 3.7% in October, the highest reading since January 2013 and up from 3.6% in September. This sent annual average inflation up to 2.8%, from 2.7% a month earlier.
