Argentina: Merchandise trade surplus shrinks in June
Latest reading: In June, the trade balance was USD +2.2 billion, following a USD +3.4 billion reading in the prior month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to USD +22.5 billion.
Merchandise exports were up 24.5% in annual terms in June, following 35.0% growth in the prior month. Merchandise imports rose 7.3% in year-on-year terms in June, coming on the back of a 5.5% fall in the previous month. June’s reading was the strongest since October 2025.
