Uruguay: Manufacturing production rebounds in June
Latest reading: Manufacturing production rose 5.4% on a year-on-year basis in June, following a 3.5% decline in the previous month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in June improved for food (+7.8% in annual terms vs -4.5% in May) and chemical substances and products (+4.8% vs -12.2% in May). In contrast, readings worsened for paper (+10.8% vs +15.0% in May) and beverages (-5.8% vs +16.9% in May).
