Uruguay: Manufacturing activity rebounds in January
Manufacturing output increased 1.2% in year-on-year terms in January, which was above December’s 7.8% decrease. The notable turnaround largely reflected pickups in food and paper output.
Meanwhile, the trend remained stable, with the annual average growth of manufacturing production coming in at 0.6%, matching December’s outturn.
