Ukraine: Industrial output hits over two-year low in October
Industrial production plunged 5.0% over the same month last year in October, which marked the worst reading since April 2017. The result was a notable deterioration from September’s 1.1% drop. Broad-based weakness across the mining and quarrying, and manufacturing sectors drove the contraction.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with annual average variation in industrial production coming in at minus 0.8% in October, down from September’s minus 0.2%.
