Ukraine: Industrial output growth loses pace in September
Industrial output grew 1.4% year-on-year in September (August: +1.7% yoy). September’s slowdown was partly driven by a deterioration in manufacturing output. In contrast, mining and quarrying output rebounded.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 1.8% in September, down from July’s 0.6% slide. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 1.2% in the same month (August: +1.0%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
