UAE: Dubai inflation remains steady in December
Inflation in Dubai came in at 3.3% in December, matching November’s result. December’s figure represented the joint-lowest inflation rate since August.
Annual average inflation ticked down to 3.3% in December (November: 3.5%).
Lastly, consumer prices in Dubai increased 0.57% in December over the previous month, swinging from the 0.16% fall seen in November.
Meanwhile, the statistical office recently released new data for the UAE as a whole. According to the release, inflation in the UAE as a whole fell 1.0% in Q2 2023 from 3.6% in Q1 2023.
