Turkey: Consumer confidence deteriorates in November.
Consumer confidence fell to 80.1 in November from October’s 81.9. As a result, the index moved further below the 100-threshold, separating pessimism from optimism among consumers.
The headline print reflected a deterioration in consumers’ views of their current and future financial situation and more pessimism regarding the general economic climate in the next 12 months. Moreover, views on the labor market soured, with consumers expecting a pick up in the unemployment rate.
