Turkey: Business confidence hits highest reading since May 2022 in April
Business confidence rose to 108.0 in April from March’s 105.2. April’s result marked the best performance since May 2022. As a result, the index moved further above the 100-threshold, signaling increasing optimism among businesses.
The improvement was driven by higher expectations of orders and output in the next three months, as well as expectations of larger fixed investment in the year ahead. That said, views regarding current operating conditions worsened slightly.
