Thailand: Inflation falls to lowest level since December 2021 in March
Inflation fell to 2.8% in March, following February’s 3.8%. March’s reading marked the lowest inflation rate since December 2021.
Annual average inflation fell to 5.8% in March (February: 6.1%). Meanwhile, core inflation edged down to 1.7% in March, from February’s 1.9%.
Finally, consumer prices fell 0.27% over the previous month in March, a sharper drop than February’s 0.12% drop. March’s result marked the weakest reading since December 2021.
