Taiwan: Inflation falls to lowest level since August 2021 in February
Consumer prices rose 0.01% in February over the previous month, coming in below the 0.57% rise seen in January. The reading was driven by moderating price pressures for housing and transportation.
Inflation fell to 2.4% in February from January’s 2.8%. February’s figure marked the weakest inflation rate since August 2021. Annual average inflation ticked up to 2.3% in February (January: 2.2%).
