Taiwan: Industrial output growth gains steam in February
Industrial output grew 10.0% compared to the same month of the previous year in February, which was above January’s 8.4% increase. The acceleration came on the back of upturns in manufacturing and electricity and gas supply production.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rose at a faster rate of 3.7% in February (January: +2.2% mom), the best result since February 2021. Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 13.0%, up from January’s 12.5% reading.
