Sweden: Economic sentiment improves in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 102.7 in June, following May’s 100.1. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and the highest since June 2022.
In June, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (+5.3 vs +0.6 in May), the construction sector (-13.3 vs -14.2 in May), the services sector (+26.9 vs +23.5 in May) and among consumers (-5.1 vs -5.7 in May). In contrast, sentiment darkened in the retail sector (+22.6 vs +25.8 in May).
