Spain: Merchandise trade deficit narrows in June
Latest reading: In June, the trade balance was EUR -7.7 billion, following a EUR -8.2 billion figure in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to EUR -64.7 billion.
Merchandise exports fell 2.4% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in June, following a 0.3% drop in the previous month. June’s reading was the weakest since September 2024. Merchandise imports fell 1.8% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in June, coming on the back of a 2.9% increase in the prior month.
