Spain: Retail sales decelerate in June
Latest reading: Retail sales were up 0.3% on a working-day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in June, following a 0.6% rise in the prior month.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in June worsened for large chain stores (+0.4% on a working-day and seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs +0.6% in May), single retail stores (-0.2% vs +1.1% in May) and small chain stores (-3.2% vs -0.3% in May).
On a year-on-year basis, retail sales were up 0.5% in June, following 1.3% growth in the prior month.
