Slovakia: Inflation increases in December
Consumer prices rose 0.2% from the previous month in December (November: 0.5% mom). The weaker figure was largely due to reduced price pressures for utilities and transport.
Inflation ticked up to 5.8% in December from November’s 5.6%. Lastly, harmonized inflation rose to 5.1% from November’s 4.8%.
December’s result brought annual average inflation in 2021 to 3.2% and annual average harmonized inflation in 2021 to 2.8%.
