Slovakia: Inflation rises to six-month-high in March
Consumer prices rose 0.6% month-on-month in March, up from February’s 0.2% increase. The monthly uptick was chiefly led by higher prices for food and transport, and a rebound in prices for clothing and footwear.
Inflation increased to a six-month high of 2.7% in March, after coming in at 2.3% in February. Likewise, harmonized inflation also rose to 2.7% in March (February: 2.3%). Meanwhile, annual average inflation inched down to 2.6%, from 2.7% in February.
