Slovakia: Harmonized inflation rises in November
Harmonized inflation rose to 15.1% in November, following Octobers 14.5%. November’s reading marked the highest inflation rate since June 2000. Looking at the details of the release, food, housing and utilities prices increased at a faster rate in November, while prices for transportation rose at a softer pace.
The trend pointed up, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 11.3% in November (October: 10.4%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation rose to 15.4% in November, from Octobers 14.9%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices rose 1.01% in November over the previous month, below the 1.30% increase logged in October.
