Singapore: Merchandise trade surplus widens in June
Latest reading: In May, the trade balance was USD +10.7 billion, following a USD +4.4 billion figure in the previous month. Over the last 12 months, the trade balance summed to 76.1 USD billion.
Non-oil domestic exports (NODX) were up 20.7% in annual terms in May, following 38.4% growth in the prior month.
In seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms, NODX contracted 8.9% in May, coming on the back of 7.7% growth in the prior month.
