Serbia: Industrial output growth accelerates in July
Industrial output expanded 2.7% in year-on-year terms in July, which followed June’s 0.5% increase. July’s improvement was driven by a rebound in manufacturing production and a weaker contraction in mining and quarrying output.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed up, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.3% in July, up from June’s minus 1.9%. On a monthly basis, factory output grew shrank 0.4% in seasonally adjusted terms in July, contrasting June’s 0.2% expansion.
