Poland: Retail sales growth moderates in September
Nominal retail sales increased 5.3% year-on-year in September, below August’s 6.0% rise. September’s expansion was broad-based, with the fastest increases recorded for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and orthopedic equipment; furniture, radio, TV and household appliances; textiles, clothing, and footwear; and other retail sale in non-specialized stores.
Meanwhile, annual average growth in nominal retail sales held steady at 7.0% in September, marking the weakest reading since June 2017.
