Poland: Retail sales growth accelerates in November
Nominal retail sales increased 5.9% year-on-year in November, above October’s 5.4% rise. November’s expansion was broad-based, with the fastest increases recorded for furniture, radio, TV and household appliances; textiles, clothing, and footwear; other retail sale in non-specialized stores and pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and orthopedic equipment.
Meanwhile, annual average growth in nominal retail sales ticked down from 6.6% in October to 6.4% in November, marking the weakest reading since April 2017.
