Poland: Retail sales growth deteriorates in April
Retail sales expanded 4.3% year on year in April (March: +6.0% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts sales gained steam in April, while the decrease in textiles, clothing and footwear sales worsened.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of retail sales coming in at 3.5%, up from March’s 3.4%.
