Poland: Decline in retail sales softens in February
Retail sales dropped 2.7% year-on-year in February (January: -6.0% yoy). The softer contraction came on the back of an upturn in motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts sales, as well as in textiles, clothing and footwear sales.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of retail sales coming in at minus 4.3%, down from January’s minus 3.2% reading.
