Poland: Industrial production loses momentum in July
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 5.1% in annual terms in July, following 7.4% growth in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in July softened for mining and quarrying (+18.5% in annual terms vs +28.4% in June), manufacturing (+4.4% vs +6.2% in June) and electricity, gas and utilities (+7.4% vs +14.5% in June).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production increased 0.5% in July, following a flat reading in the prior month.
