Economic activity grew 24.9% compared to the same month a year earlier in June, which followed May’s 34.2% increase. In detail, manufacturing of food products, financial activity, agriculture and construction were among the activities that registered an expansion.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of economic activity coming in at minus 5.0% in June, up from May’s minus 9.4%.
In light of the latest release, it is worth noting that there was an upward revision for data from April that suggests Q2 was much better than previously expected.
