Netherlands: Consumer confidence unchanged in February
Consumer confidence came in at minus 19.0 in February, matching January’s reading and remaining markedly below the long run average of minus 7.0.
The print reflected a slightly more pessimistic view on the economic climate in February, as views regarding the economy in the next 12 and the past 12 months worsened. This was offset by an uptick in willingness to buy, driven by a more upbeat view on the financial situation of households in the year ahead.
