Luxembourg: Retail sales growth slides to six-month low in September
Retail sales expanded 2.6% in year-on-year terms in September, which was a deterioration from August’s 4.6% increase. September’s figure marked the worst reading since March.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail sales rose 0.6% in September (August: -2.2% mom). Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of retail sales coming in at 4.6%, down from August’s plus 4.7%.
