Lithuania: Industrial output grows at fastest pace since June 2023 in April

Industrial output grew 5.5% year on year in April (March: -2.6% yoy). April’s figure marked the best reading since June 2023. The notable turnaround was primarily due to upturns in manufacturing and mining and quarrying production.

On a monthly basis, industrial output grew 4.0% in seasonally adjusted terms in April, matching March’s expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved significantly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 0.0% in April, up from March’s minus 3.7%.
