Lithuania: Economic sentiment increases in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 103.3 in July, following June’s 102.2. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In July, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-7.7 vs -7.8 in June), the services sector (+12.9 vs +10.2 in June), the retail sector (+3.9 vs +3.7 in June) and among consumers (+0.9 vs -1.4 in June). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (-5.8 vs -5.6 in June).
