Korea: Business confidence among manufacturing firms falls to 10-month low in February
Business confidence among manufacturing firms came in at 90.0 in February, down from January’s 92.0. As such, the index moved further below the 100-point threshold, signaling that manufacturing businesses were increasingly pessimistic.
In detail, increased pessimism was broadly observed among both export and domestic-oriented manufacturing firms. In addition, those firms became more downbeat regarding the future of sales pricess and profitability.
