Kazakhstan: Inflation rises in October
Consumer prices rose 0.6% over the previous month in October, up from September’s 0.3% increase. Higher prices for food, and rising prices for products and service led the increase.
Inflation rose to 5.5% in October from 5.2% in September, thus moving further away from the midpoint of the Central Bank’s 4.0%–6.0% target band. Lastly, annual average inflation came in at 5.2%, matching September’s result.
