Kazakhstan: Inflation falls to lowest level since August in November
Consumer prices increased 0.75% over the previous month in November, accelerating from October’s 0.70% increase. November’s uptick was the highest reading since June. The acceleration was primarily due to rising prices for foodstuffs.
Inflation came in at 8.7% in November, down from October’s 8.9%. November’s figure represented the lowest inflation rate since August. Meanwhile, the trend pointed up slightly, with annual average inflation coming in at 7.9% in November (October: 7.8%).
