Kazakhstan: Industrial output growth gains steam in September
Industrial production grew 9.4% year on year in September (August: +5.4% yoy). The upturn marked the best result since June. Looking at the details of the release, September’s pickup was broad-based, with the manufacturing, mining and quarrying and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sub-sectors all accelerating.
Meanwhile, the trend improved sizably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.8% in September, up from August’s 1.9%.
