Greece: Unemployment rate stable in January
January’s data sent mixed signals regarding the health of the labor market. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was stable at December’s upwardly revised 10.4%, while the number of employed people increased by 28,810 compared with December.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed increased by 1,741 compared with December. That said, the number of individuals outside the labor force declined by 29,422 compared to December, representing a 1.0% drop.
