Greece: Unemployment rate stable in August
August’s data sent mixed signals about the labor market. The number of employed people decreased by 47,172 compared with July, while the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate matched July’s upwards revised 10.9%.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed decreased 2,080 relative to July. However, the number of individuals outside the labor force increased by 46,940 compared to July, representing a 1.5% increase.
