Greece: Unemployment rate declines in October
October’s data points to another improvement in labor market conditions. The number of employed people increased by 55,348 compared with September, while the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 9.6% from September’s upwards revised 10.3%.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed decreased by 28,316 relative to September. Moreover, the number of individuals outside the labor force fell by 22,797 compared to September, representing a 0.7% drop.
