Greece: Unemployment rate declines in March
March’s data pointed to an improvement in the labor market. The number of employed people increased by 59,417 compared with February, while the seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate decreased to 10.9% from February’s 11.3%.
Meanwhile, the number of unemployed decreased by 14,096 compared to February. Moreover, the number of individuals outside the labor force decreased by 47,692 compared with February, representing a 1.5% drop.
