Greece: Economic sentiment falls in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 107.6 in July, following June’s 108.2. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In July, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (+2.7 vs +4.6 in June) and the services sector (+31.8 vs +39.0 in June). In contrast, sentiment improved in the construction sector (+28.2 vs +24.7 in June), the retail sector (+17.0 vs +7.1 in June) and among consumers (-47.8 vs -52.8 in June).
