Ghana: Inflation drops to lowest level in over a year in April
Consumer prices rose a seasonally-adjusted 1.51% from the previous month in April, quickening from the 0.89% increase logged in March. April’s result primarily reflected faster price growth for food.
Inflation came in at 8.5% in April, down from March’s 10.3% result and marking the lowest level in over a year. Meanwhile, annual average inflation came in at 10.3% in April, down from 10.5% in the previous month.
