Ghana: Inflation drops to an over five-year low in October
Consumer prices rose 0.7% in October from the previous month (September: 0.0% month-on-month). Inflation moderated to 9.5% in October (September: 9.8%), marking the lowest reading in over five years and edging closer to the midpoint of the Central Bank’s medium-term target band of 8.0% plus or minus 2.0 percentage points. Meanwhile, annual average inflation eased to an over four-year low of 10.2% in October, from 10.4% in September.
