France: Harmonized inflation rises in November
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation inched up to 1.7% in November from October’s 1.6%, but remained notably below the Euro area average.
The trend pointed down mildly, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 2.5% in November (October: 2.7%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation rose to 1.3% in November from the previous month’s 1.2%, due largely to a softer drop in energy prices.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices dropped 0.15% from the previous month in November, contrasting October’s 0.32% rise.
