France Consumer Confidence March 2021

France: Consumer confidence improves in March

Consumer confidence came in at 94 in March, up from February’s 91. As a result, the index moved closer to the 100-threshold, which represents its long-term average.

In March, consumers’ assessment over their expected personal financial situation improved, while their perception of their expected standard of living turned less pessimistic. Moreover, households’ fears over unemployment ahead decreased from the previous month.
