Estonia: Industrial production shrinks more quickly in April
Latest reading: Industrial production fell 3.8% in annual terms in April, following a 0.5% drop in the previous month. April’s reading was the weakest since August 2024.
Relative to the prior month’s data, the reading for manufacturing worsened in April (-3.2% on a year-on-year basis vs +1.6% in March, while the reading for mining and quarrying improved (+14.3% vs +5.9% in March).
On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, industrial production was up 1.1% in April, following a 2.3% decline in the previous month.
