Ecuador: Consumer prices fall for second month straight in January
Consumer prices rose 0.2% over the previous month in January, following December’s flat reading. January’s print largely reflected higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Meanwhile, consumer prices fell 0.3% in January, following December’s 0.1% decrease. Lastly, the annual average variation in consumer prices declined 0.3% in January, contrasting December’s 0.3 increase.
