Ecuador: Economic activity growth climbs to over four-year high in November
According to the monthly economic activity indicator (IDEAC, Indice de Actividad Económica Coyuntural) released by the Central Bank of Ecuador, economic activity gained strength for the ninth consecutive month in November, growing 5.9% over the same month of the previous year. This was a pick up from October’s 5.3% year-on-year expansion. November’s print marked the fastest pace of growth in over four years. In month-on-month, seasonally-adjusted terms, economic activity rose 0.6% over the previous month in November, matching October’s reading.
