Dominican Republic: Economic activity growth gains momentum in February
Economic activity increased 1.8% compared to the same month of the previous year in February, which was above January’s 0.4% increase.
Still, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at 4.0% in February, down from January’s 4.4% reading.
Lastly, on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, activity expanded 1.9% in February, rebounding from the prior month’s 3.2% plunge. February’s increase was the strongest since November 2021.
