Dominican Republic: Economic activity expands at quickest pace since September 2022 in December
Economic activity rose 4.7% compared to the same month a year earlier in December, which was above November’s 4.2% increase. December’s print marked the best reading since September 2022.
On a monthly basis, economic activity grew 0.7% in seasonally adjusted terms in December, which was below November’s 1.1% expansion. Meanwhile, the trend improved modestly, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at 2.4% in December, up from November’s 2.2%.
